Last week, we suggested rotating between 2-10 tabs and browsing back to avoid the SLOW screens (and advertising) on the PCA site. We’ve found a better way.
Screenshots are using an iMac and the Firefox browser. (Firefox is great for multi-tabs as it only requires one click to open a new tab, then it’s just “paste” and “enter.”) I’m sure the Windows people will comment below with Windows-based work-arounds. Right, Windows people?
Start by going to http://vote.peopleschoice.com/#!/home/all/77/2 in your first tab.
Copy the address, open another tab, paste and hit enter.
Continue opening tabs, pasting, etc. until you have about 10 tabs open.
Then start voting.
When you see this screen, close that tab.
When you get back to your first tab, vote it and close it – or better yet – start over again.
Please exercise some restraint. Doing 50-60 tabs in a row repeatedly WILL result in your account being disabled. Trust me. I know this.
And thanks to Linda Tellier for this inspirational image. Eyes on the prize!
