Next Steps and Follow-up to #WorldwideTVNeedsOutlander

Thank you, so very much, to everyone who took part in #WorldwideTVNeedsOutlander on February 26.

As many of you are aware, #WorldwideTVNeedsOutlander was a great success, ending the day at #7 of 622 trending topics worldwide. (Yes, you read that right. Take a minute to pat yourself on the back, but don’t hurt yourself.)

Not only did we trend worldwide, but we also trended in a total of fifteen countries. Unbelievably excellent work, everyone!

Where do we go from here?

Let’s concentrate on two major areas for now:

1. Continue recruiting fans to Facebook and other groups in each individual country and then help those new members become comfortable on Twitter for future efforts and for support of the series when it airs.

2. Follow up on our Twitter efforts with e-mails to the networks in countries where the acquisition of Outlander has not been announced. These e-mails should stress that the storyline is compelling, that everything Starz has shared to date indicates that the quality of the series will be excellent and that fans will do everything in our power to support the series once it airs.

If you get a reply from a network (other than “We are looking into Outlander, but have nothing to report at this time”), please share the reply with us to help us better craft future efforts.

Thank you once again for your outstanding efforts on behalf of Outlander. Long live Outlander world-wide!
